Privacy policy

This policy covers the dpow.app website and the emails we send from it. It is written in plain English on purpose. dpow, The Digital Plan of Work, is a product of DPOW Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17276695, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ ("dpow", "we"). We are the data controller for the information described here, and we follow UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What this website collects

• No tracking. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Its fonts, films and images are served from dpow.app itself, so opening a page sends nothing to Google or any other third party. Our host, Vercel, handles your IP address to deliver the pages.
• The founder form. If you ask for a founder place we collect your name, work email and company. We use them to reply to your request and to set up your founder seat if you go ahead.
• The Subscribe form. If you subscribe we collect your name, email and, if you give it, your company. We use them to send the 13-day walkthrough, one email each working day, and after that the occasional update. We keep a record of when and where you agreed.
• Payment details, handled by Stripe. When founder checkout is open it is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.

Cookies and device storage

This website stores nothing on your device, so there is no cookie banner. We checked every page (home, notes, walkthrough, privacy, terms and accessibility) on 2 October 2026:

• Cookies: none. No page sets a cookie, and no third party sets one when a page opens.
• Local storage and session storage: none.
• IndexedDB: none.
• Forms: the founder and Subscribe forms send what you type to our app at datum.dpow.app only when you press the button. That request carries no cookies and sets none.
• Your browser's cache: like any website, your browser may keep copies of our pages, fonts and films so they load faster next time. That is your browser's own behaviour; we do not read it or use it to recognise you.

Some links take you to other services, which have their own cookies and policies: Stripe when you pay for a founder place, and the Datum demo at demo.dpow.co.uk. Nothing from them loads until you choose to go there. If we ever add anything to this site that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent first and update this section.

Why we use it

• Founder requests: to answer the request you made and to take the steps you asked for before a contract.
• The walkthrough and updates: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by replying with the word unsubscribe.

Who handles it for us

The forms are processed by our app, hosted by Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend and received in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. Some of these providers are based in the United States. We do not sell your details or share them with anyone else for their own use. The companies that help us run the dpow.app product are on our sub-processor list.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the reason you gave it: while you are subscribed, or while we are discussing a founder place. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

The dpow.app product

For the product itself: your project documents live in your own Microsoft 365 SharePoint, and dpow writes your registers there as workbooks. The working register, logs and audit trail are held in dpow's own database so the app can run your job. Product terms, including a data processing agreement, are provided to customers.

How long the product keeps data

• Workspace data: while you subscribe, then 90 days after the subscription ends, then deleted.
• Audit trail and golden thread: 6 years after the project closes.
• Billing records: 6 years.
• Chat history: 12 months.
• Error logs: 90 days.
• Files held in dpow while SharePoint is not connected: 90 days.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe. We then keep only your email address on a do-not-email list so you are never emailed again.

Files in your own SharePoint are yours and are never deleted by dpow.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its use, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think we have it wrong. For any of these, email pc@dpow.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
