Privacy policy
This policy covers the dpow.app website. It is written in plain English on purpose. dpow is operated by Pete Connolly ("dpow", "we"). We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What this website collects
- Nothing automatically. This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics.
- Email, if you contact us. The contact and newsletter links open your own email client. We receive only what you choose to send, and we use it only to reply and, if you asked for them, to send founder updates. Unsubscribe by replying "stop".
- Payment details, handled by Stripe. Founder checkout is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to the payment itself.
The product promise
For the dpow.app product itself: your project documents are stored in your own Microsoft 365 tenant and never leave it. dpow.app holds project intelligence (the register spine, logs and audit trail) in a UK-governed, GDPR-compliant database, with signed data processing agreements and six-year retention aligned to limitation periods. A Data Processing Addendum is available on request.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) if you think we have it wrong. For any of these, email us and we will respond within one month.
